Sign up with GoogleI waited for 9 months for ADSL in a non-ADSL enabled building due to fibre, eventually, I'd gotten gat-vol, and sent an email my BAM at Telkom, he forwarded this to pierre marais (ME of network operations) and violla, 7 days later a ADSL to fibre convertor is installed and we're up and running
Heavens it pays to know people in high and mighty places!
Although I'm pleased as punch they sorted this so quickly after the complaint, if only network planning, could do their job right the first time, things would never have to be escalated to these levels and I'm sure that many of the complaints levelled at Telkom would be dealt a heavy blow (pricing as always excluded)
