Hi,

I'm looking for the following from an ADSL ISP:

Static IP
Fibre for international access NOT sattellite

Do any of you know of an ISP that offers this ?

Thanx

it does not really matter. uncapped would be preferred, but even with a cost per usage model or "soft cap" situation will be good.

we need this to work from home on remote systems so normal adsl won't cut it and the cost implication with diginet is too much :(

verizon offers adsl over their fibre network but you need to buy from resellers and i've been unable to find a good reseller for verizon adsl

Correct me if I'm wrong but SAIX based ISPs are de facto fibre unlike IS who promotes/differientiates it in order to distance itself from the comparatively poor performance satellite option.

I have a verizon unshaped account (as well as SAIX unshaped and IS standard accounts) and it's slow and largely unimpressive.

Have you tried www.Vanilla.co.za - no frills, Verizon at R95 odd per gig if 3Gb or more. And Verizon works like no other, believe me...
