ADSL issues in Ferndale

Hi,

I recently had an ADSL connection installed by telkom at my place. The issue since the installation was an intermittent modem reboot/ reset. I have a Netgear N300. Also there is alot of noise on my telephone line.
After resetting the modem, the frequent reboots have decreased, however for a 2mbps line my speed is horrible.
I am getting a speed of 1024kbps downstream and 512kbps upstream. My line attenuation is 58db and noise margin is 8db downstream and about 12db upstream.

Could you please advise on what to do?
