LTE Solution

Hi all,

I have been reading through this thread and have a solution to the copper issues.

Telkom LTE wireless internet is available in your area.
Yes, I am a Telkom LTE Sales agent and will gladly come to your home and test the signal strength and speed.

On average we guarantee speeds of 15 - 40 Mbps (dependent on signal strength) and the monthly cost is determined by the amount of data that you purchase.

Please feel free to contact me if you need more information.

Thank you.

that's strange...I would've thought everybody would have been up by now...

I'm swamped at work so can't really take time out to make any phone calls...I'm sending you my guy's contact details...give him a ring and find out?

NO thank you. Stop selling lte and start doing the job that Telkom is suppose to do and that is fixed lines. You are welcome to give me lte if the price is the same. I need minimum of 200gigs per month.

I had a Telkom guy call this morning surprised that my phone is dead, saying that they are done with cable replacements. He says they're going to figure out what went wrong with my line.

:crying:

Still nothing from Telkom, I got cut off this morning by the incompetent ***** who eventually answered the phone. Haven't had a chance to call again.

Hey guys, I sort of forgot to update here. :whistling:

Got reconnected on Saturday, but for some reason only syncing at 1.5Mbps instead of 2Mbps. I've opened a ticket with Afrihost as my line is with them. At least I'm online again.

Thanks again SlowHands, you're definitely the hero we need! :)

Hey cueball, great to hear you're connected again...was a long wait tho :/

sidenote...I was told that those new metal things sticking out of the ground will be secured with concrete...I haven't seen this in my street (Burgundy) as well as Witteboom...anybody else seen concrete being used to secure the new metal pole thingies?

I've not noticed any new pole thingies :-/ The only new stuff I've noticed is the 2 MSAN installations.

...they stick out of the ground about half a meter, and got black letters printed on them. We have a couple of them in Burgundy, and I've seen some in Witteboom (my driving route)
