my line shows max 20mbs, but I do NOT trust that stats. Crystal web tested the line and we are suppose to be on 40mbs. So, must I upgrade or not!!!!????? 20 is SO GOOD! BUT I always want more!
get 20 if you can...you can always upgrade later if it's possible.
I just put in an order for 40 because I'm to lazy to upgrade twice :/ if I can only get 20 then that's also fine for now...20/40...MUCH better than 4!!!!

mine says 20Mbps (Copper). Weird. I'm at the cul-de-sac of Shiraz, probably too far from the MSAN.
I am already on 20mbs!! The internet is really a lot better than the old 4mbs. I submitted a ticket to Webafrica, my isp to check if i can upgrade to 40mbs. they will hopefully reply in the next couple of minutes. i will keep you posted.
I am on 20mbs adsl and still using my adsl router. You must send a message to their social team, they will know what to do. I will soon order my new vdsl router...... ...........Webafrica just responded to my request if our lines support 40mbs, and they said no. I still think we can get 40.
EDIT: i see that some parts of the village can get 40, but we are all connected to the same dslam. Telkom in the wrong again. Definitely 40mbs.

Might be distance related, if you're too far you can't have VDSL. You can still have 20 on ADSL2+ though.

Basset/Ronelle Street upgraded, but the telkom test thingie says I can do 4mbps max, which I've got. My router however reckons I can do 25 it seems.
But I want fibre
