Any body else having issues with their line speeds? My line synced fine at 38Mb/s for the last 6 months. now its syncing at 28Mb/s

My line speed sync also went down. That fibre invitation from Crystal web sounds good. I support it.

Guys PLEASE inbox me if interested. Try and get everyone you know in our area to sign up for a CW package (even if it's the cheapest package they have). Once we get 40 people in our area that uses CW as an ISP, we qualify for FTTH upgrades!

Have you chatted to CW to become a champion? And if so do you know what the numbers are currently?

I'm in Sonkring so we might very well be in the same zone.

Oh it's only 1 November. Guess I'll wait and sign myself up.

Nope not yet. Want to put a feeler out first to see how many are actually interested.

Great! At the end of the day I'm not fussed about being a champion (you get free internet for life if you are). I just want FTTH. So if someone in our area wants to spearhead this whole thing, by all means go for it. As long as we can sign enough people up, I'm happy

Also with Twitter and the like should have some traction I'm sure. Always surprised by how many people live around the corner.

In Protea Heights as well, between Buitekant and Jacaranda on the Angelier side. Havn't signed up for the CW Champion programme yet, but canvassed a bit and have 4 people interested in CW (saying and doing are different things though). I'll be canvasing another 25 houses in the next 2-3 weeks.

AFAIK, there are already 5 clients in Protea Heights, excluding those on this thread and forum.

@SauRonZA - I know of someone else (from a different forum) in Sonkring that has approached CW for the XTTH programme. You may even be the same person :p and he might get in touch with you.

Maybe don't canvas too hard before it becomes a real thing with area codes and what not.

Are you talking about Eyesuc by any chance?

With some luck me might not even need to leave the internet, to get enough sign ups.

Just chatted to Paul Hjul and he said with all the hacking drama "next week" didn't pan out for champion sign ups as they had intended.

Anybody else with huge speed drops? My line usually syncs at 30Mbps, now it's syncing @ 2Mbps with 13Mbps attainable???
WTF is telkom doing???
