adsl router setup w/ imaginet

Got a username and password from Imaginet for an account. Never done this before though, so could someone tell me how I start using that account to access the internet?

I put the new password in the router and tried resetting it but then failed to load any web pages after that. All Imaginet gave me was an excel document that had the password and some other random notes, no instructions on how to use it. Using D-Link 300T router.

Came from overseas and my brain doesn't speak Telkom yet!

I am sure that if you phone Imaginet support they will be able to sort you out. Normally they are very helpful.

I have not had any issues with my Imaginet logon's ever. You may find that there are other settings that need to be changed before the logon happens.

Does your router sync? If not then it does not even get to the authorisation stage. Have you looked at your routers log for further info.

I agree with ernstn, the Imaginet support/technical staff are very helpful. I have actually set up 4 different types of ADSL modems at home with their help. Just phone in and ask them to help you out
