For the last few weeks, when I typed in "http://mail.trythis.co.za", I was
forwarded to this address:
http://196.7.147.11/horde/imp/login.php?url=%2Fhorde%2Fimp%2Fmailbox.php%3FHorde%3D5c3e90b8efdc9ae934f92155e637b52d&Horde=5c3e90b8efdc9ae934f92155e637b52d&1=1&reason=session
<http://196.7.147.11/horde/imp/login.php?url=%2Fhorde%2Fimp%2Fmailbox.php%3FHorde%3D5c3e90b8efdc9ae934f92155e637b52d&Horde=5c3e90b8efdc9ae934f92155e637b52d&1=1&reason=session>.
(session details probably differed of course)
For the last couple of days (since my one ADSL account was capped, I
think), the forwarding has not been working (from my domain to the 196 IP),
and I had to type in the IP address to get to my mailbox. Then, in the last
2 days (now 3), I cannot connect to EITHER address while using my CAPPED
ADSL account. I still can browse to EITHER the IP OR the
"mail.trythis.co.za" URL using my UNCAPPED ASDL account.
With the CAPPED ASDL account I could browse ANY other locally hosted site,
including my stats for BOTH my ADSL accounts. including the myadsl
website (www.myadsl.co.za).
IMHO the problem lies within the ADSL capping system ... I can still send
and receive e-mail speedily through my mail client, which obviously
operates on a different port than general browsing, BUT there appears to be
a problem with the IP resolution, where the capping system appears to think
that the URL http://196.7.147.11/horde/imp/ is hosted outside RSA, and is
limiting access to it.
Suffice it to say that I have no problems at all accessing your pages and
services with an UNCAPPED ADSL account.
any ideas??[?]
