Hi all,
I have finished my 24 month contract with Sentech (128Kb/s) and I am looking to get 384Kb/s ADSL. I have a few questions that may help me decide which ISP to go for.
I understand that there are several "backbones" that I can choose from:
Telkom/SAIX
IS
Verizon
UUNET
I really, really, really do not want to support telkom, so Telkom/SAIX is out.
I understand that with IS, one can surf/download locally for upto 30GB after your cap is reached.
Does IS do hard-capping internationally?
I don't know much about the Verizon backbone. Anyone care to enlighten me?
I don't know if UUNET is even going anymore.
So basically, I am looking for an ISP that uses the IS backbone, offers 384Kb/s international and local, 3GB Int. cap and 30GB local cap, and has members/employees that frequent these forums.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for your time
