Sign up with GoogleWhile living in Merebank (and later moving to Treasure Beach - approx. 3km apart), I found that - even with a faster (2MB) line - on a capped account (as compared to a previous uncapped 1MB account) my internet speeds and download rates are about the same. Apparently I am much closer to the nearest exchange as well!
Although I am now on a capped 2MB account, I still experience very slow speeds. Pathetic!
On a different note altogether though, we are being severely ripped off with the exorbitant ADSL prices and pathetic packages on offer.
