ADSL vs DIAL-UP

Hi Guys

What are possible reasons for not being able to view a page thru ADSL but you can thru dial -up

OS=Win xp pro
Browser: FF1/IE6/opera 8

I am connecting to our works server backend to add in data via a form buT I get an error when I submit the form data using ADSL but not on Dial up.

Please help

On a SAIX shaped account I cannot do what I need to but on a IS
account I can

Most likely a problem with SAIX's transparent proxy not being able to access it...
Can you ping it? If so, set your proxy to cache.saix.net:3128 and you should be able to access it fine?

THanks I accessed it via setting the proxy.

Some proxy servers dont like the HTTP PUT command when the proxy is used transparently.

The Web browser has to know when its using a proxy so it can change the way the PUT request is formed. When a transparent proxy is used, the web browser believes that its just going straight to the targer site, so it doesn't make the necessary changes to the request.
