But ... SABC cannot simply go on spending 500m at a time, and the "to remain competitive" excuse is wearing thin, and I am certainly not going to help them spend another 500m.

I await the self inflicted death of the debt-ridden SABC, but it won't happen, they're actually extremely lucrative, and all this is just some smokescreen again.
