Hey all...has anyone ever complained about any Telkom ad to the Advertising Standards Authority? They do a great job if the complaint is legit.

For example - am I not correct in saying that the claim in Telkoms' latest newspaper ad about "Jack" and their 1024 connection, that one gets 24/7 connection is incorrect due to the resets?

Please could someone confirm this so that I (and anyone else who wishes to do so) can make a submission to the ASA - http://www.asasa.org.za/ConsumerComplaint.aspx

I think we should complain more about their ads IF they are factually incorrect or misleading.
 
also, you cannot use your line flatout 24/7, since you would reach your cap VERY quickly. you are basically allowed to check your mails 2 times a day and then browse news24 for 10 minutes. NO MORE! Or else you ABUSE their "24/7" connection.

i hope the new CEO gets herpes...
 
Absolutely! And what about downloading life with a 3 Gb cap! I saw a an ad in a mag this week that the mom is doing this on the net, dad is doing something else, and the boy is downloading *THE MATRIX* etc. all this with one ADSL connection.... LOL
