Advice: Mazda 3 VS Honda Civic Hatch

Hyundai i30 2012/2013 model should fit in that price range...

I've never owned one but anybody that I know who has ever owned one has sworn by them as ultra reliable.

Cant say the same for Mazda,seen my friends with Mazda's have their fair share of issues.

They simply don't break, in a different league to mazda.

Indeed, I had a Honda Ballade circa 1996 before my current i30 and it was bulletproof as can come

Mazda is also reliable... However, the previous shape Mazda 3 will probably be lacking in perceived quality and performance, when compared to the newer Civic.

Thanks for the responses guys. Some good point about the mazda re-sale value due to the new one.

I decided to buy the Honda. While waiting for finance to be confirmed, they sold the car to a cash buyer. So unless I find one for the same price, I will look at buying the Mazda. Unless they find my stolen Toyota by the end of the month (ya right)
