Good Day

Please guys I need advice.

Most Jobs need a drivers license. i could go for an office based position . I have a learners and can drive and have own transport

Here is my problem.

I am an IT Technician by trade with A+, N+ MCSA & MCSE

I lost my job in Oct 2015 , but that is besides the point. My previous job did not allow any days off for me to book my license never the less driving lessons. Now

In December 2015 I failed by rolling back. Now I do not have enough funds to even book again. My family is helping me financially but it just covers my expenses with no room for extra cash to pay for a re book or test.

How am I going to get back on my feet if all or most of the posts require a drivers license and I cannot even go to do the test without extra cash?

Catch 22 situation any advice?

I am trying to do odd jobs but this leads also to cover expenses which were once covered when I was employed.

Don't let the drivers license requirement stop you from applying for jobs. Most require a drivers license and own transport, sure, and you have both (well, technically one is a learner's)

You have job experience, you have a means to get around, you're on your way to do your drivers test to get your license. It's not like you got it yesterday and learned to drive today, nor is it a question of you don't have the work experience to do.

Note learner's license (and when you got it) including all your experience. GET THAT INTERVIEW. Then explain you were working 7 days a week like a dog at your previous company and never got the chance to go for your drivers test, and when you did (after you left the company) you failed by rolling back and then didn't have the funds to re-do the test.

Most companies won't give a ****, as long as you're getting to where they need you to go (and making an effort).
