Hi all,

I have a problem with my connection from my laptop (E620 card). It has suddenly stopped working - I can connect, but no web site opens ("Page not found" error).

Bekdik suggested trying ipconfig /all to check tcp/ip settings, and the results are at the bottom of the mail.

Everything has worked fine for six months - please can some technical experts advise what needs to be changed?!

Thanks,
Brendon

Try changing the tcp/ip setting to Obtain network address automatically. Same for dns.

Go to start.control panel/Network connections.

rightclick on the MTN F@stLink comnector, choose properties then go to Networking tab, open tcp/ip and click the automatic boxen.

Hope this helps!

@Bekdik - thanks for the directions, but these are already the settings. I've tried adding a new connection from scratch and using only the default settings, but that doesn't work either.

Does anyone know a good IP address to ping? I think there are no packets being received at all, but I just want to test this at the command line. If it does work, then I suppose I should look at the DNS settings again.

I see DHCP is not enabled - is this right? I'm out of my depth now..

Muy bad! Eventually realised it was a prepaid SIM in the data card, not the contract one... and it had expired...
