So I seriously question that statement... the financials for KSIA/Dube Tradeport do not seem to corroborate that concept.

Unfortunately the money doesn’t go to Downer. It gets absorbed by the courts.

Not in a private prosecution. The security is for Downer's legal team to be covered in the event of successful defence. It is for Downer's benefit ultimately.

Ok, sorry and off topic but the "Dube Tradeport" is / has expanded. I see little signs up in the canefields down the S Coast (upper part) saying Dube Tradeport owns the land.

Downer wants this case gone asap... its being used to try get him removed from the corruption case.

There is no ways he is going to prison for that, may as well ensure that he is 10-15 million out of pocket.

Delays wouldn't work, Zuma just wants the case to hang around long enough for him to argue for Downer's removal and once that gets achieved or fails he'll quickly drop the thing and laugh off to his compound in Nkandla.
