Anything similar to Paradox Wireless with at least 3 indoor eyes for around R3 000, need to be able to connect to Security Company/Radio and keep Insurance happy?

I can go wired, but as a last option as I can't remove that again.

If this is not realistic? Next best option?

Maybe something I can expand over time but just good enough to keep insurance happy.

Moving to a new rental. Owner not going to install an alarm. I looked at a basic Paradox Wireless Kit, but it still cost an alarm and a leg.

House seems to have one of those old Keypads, but it is not connected to anything and no eyes in the house.

Will later also want to add an outside beam. Something way more affordable than Roboguard.

You have many options. With paradox , you can buy their wireless sensors but they are expensive .

There are many ioT/smart platforms available now that should meet the need .the big challenge is connecting to your security company. Without any experience of them myself, I guess oalarm or konnected.io could meet the need.

Right now, in my house, all my PIRs and some magnetics are connected to paradox alarm using cable , this is connected to the alarm company.

I also have Shelley wireless dw2 switches (dependant on WiFi and internet) on some doors including some internal cupboard doors where I want to be sure the domestic never opens . It works. These are not yet connected to alarm , but I should be able to work out how to trigger the alarm if some of them open while paradox alarm itself is armed.

This is the thing. Saw some systems but didn't look as nice and easy to hook up with Alarm Company. Paradox seems to be accepted, but they got very pricey. I am willing to invest in a good wireless system over time, but currently with moving and everything I just have SO MANY unplanned expenses.

Does it have to be paradox? I have some unused DSC panels we could do a deal on if you're interested.

Looking for options that are more affordable. So nope, doesn't have to be paradox, but must be able to be connected to Security Company (ADT). What do you have for me? :)

If you are going with alarm response from a security company they will install the radio link to link your panel with them. I would go for a second hand alarm (< R1000) on Facebook and go wired.

I'll check some second hand options. Specially if it is wired and owner not paying, it makes sense.

I bought a DSC Powerseries alarm the other day for R50 and a keypad for R150. For the price of a Arduino/ESP you can hook up your alarm to the internet and get notifications or control the alarm via the internet for free. There are programs on Github for both DSC and Paradox.

I just installed an Ajax alarm, because I wanted a system that is easy to control remotely, which was a pain with my previous paradox setup.
It is not cheap for the inital investment, but very flexible for device placement and has a component to add it up to 18 existing wireless zones.
The outdoor wireless sensors seems on par with the paradox sensors I had at my previous place.
If you choose this option, just make sure first your security company does have the Ajax software installed to link up, otherwise it requires another component to link up to the radio.
Edit: fixed a typo

What did you search? All I get is a whole bunch of crap and Chinese rubbish.

Yeah I looked at Ajax, but too pricey for a rental and don't know what my next property is going to look like. So mostly just need a solution for the next year till I decide to build or buy and then get a proper smart system.

Very good price that. If you look around they come up every now and then. Just an example for R1000 here this is what you get.

I'm just scared I pay for it and then all I receive is a pack of jellie babies. (cause its not in my area)

Guy tried to scam me already the other day. Fortunately I sent friends with brains to meet up with him.
