Quick question, do anyone know if u can shop online with it? And ive been told u must select "savings" at shop tills on it...? Why?

If you have to select "Savings" at shop tills then it's definitely not a credit card. Usually "Maestro" and "Visa Electron" branded cards are the ones that require you to use "Savings".
