Actually it is the internet's ability to rapidly disseminate information that is the reason why it is prevalent. Not the taboo around it.

The taboo exists because every picture of CP is abuse of the person in the photo. It absolutely should remain a taboo to be sexually attractive to children. I DGAF if you were "born with it".
Again - what if that is what is causing the problem. Pedophilia predates the internet.
The taboo causes victims to hide the abuse, its never a good thing.
Also, a "pedo" then seeking help has to deal with the urges might not because taboo around this and may not get the help they need.

Its not the attraction that is a crime, its the act.
but now you are virtue signaling BTW.

Lol, people are digging into de Vos's Twitter post history,

One thing I have noticed, and it happens wit ha lot of my clients, is that 2FA on Gmail isn't a necessity in many cases and a lot of Gmail accounts are tied to Android Devices and Playstores.

I"m not defending the guy, I"m just suggesting hacking an illiterate person may be a lot easier than people expect.

Yes of course you not defending him, you just the voice of reason... you need to give yourself a break, now would be a good time. The guy literally demonstrated on the very same platform how conversant he is with the security features. Not looking too good now...

I love all the people who think that Pierre de Vos being a pedo who chose to share child porn on a public platform is a more likely explanation than his account getting compromised.

We know those pedos just can’t wait to let the public know what they are!

If he guilty, lock him up. I'm just dispelling the myth that it's impossible to hack someone and he doesn't come across as the brightest. I'm sure he is guilty of a lot of other things anyway.

He could actually be a pedophile too, and he could have pulled a JK Rowling and sent a private messages as a reply instead. Posting the wrong comment or in the comment in the wrong place is also very likely, I'm just factoring in that he's not a very likeable guy to begin with, so someone that would be able to hack his account would also know how to navigate the dark web to ge tthe CP in the first place.

Constitutional law professor, Pierre de Vos

You clearly need to get your ducks in a row. Hardly illiterate now is he?

Sure. I'm just saying the pedophile explanation is nowhere near as likely as an account compromise. Anyone who's added a less-than-bright friend on Facebook has inevitably seen porn when their account got compromised. It happens all the time.

Afriforum youth clearly have too much time on their hands. This is what happens when the youth choose Jesus over sex and drugs.

Lock him up?
Hand him over to the Public, each wielding a machete.

So you're arguing that he is dumb enough to post kiddy porn in public, but not dumb enough to get hacked?

It is personal, de Vos like to dig at them, and this is a convenient occurrence to dig back at him. I am not interested in what was posted (sick), but rather who made the original post because I think answers rest therein.

I find it odd that if he did indeed have these proclivities, he would be stupid enough to post child porn to the world.

Shame why you hate Afriforum Youth?

It could be worse, they could be burning down schools now.

Yep the Police should by now have seized all his electronic devices, bubble wrapped them for forensic investigation.

This could be a big hit against the pedos.

Calling Afriforum Youth "right wingers" makes you the real and true right winger...funny how that works hay?!
Is there a difference between the youth and the elders? I am working on the simple logic that the youth are going to grow up into the same Afriforum we know and love.

Who said I hate them? Today is the first day I've ever heard of them. Haven't bothered to form a strong opinion yet, and doubt I will in the near future.
