When I enter the Afrihost details into the Netgear the light stays red.

Incorrect - They do work. It says so on their website.

@OP: Your account might be locked to an ADSL number. Phone them to get it unlocked so you can dial it on the fibre line.

Our data packages work on Telkom fibre.
If you have an Uncapped account you'll probably have to get the CLID updated.

I am running with 100GB+100GB with free uncapped night time data on my 10Mbps telkom fibre line.

Working like a dream.

Had some ping spikes when playing games, but I believe this is my ****ty router. So I can't blame Afrihost until I try a different router.

You just need to update your routers details, putting in your Afrihost DSL details.

From what I'm aware, Telkom only sell bundled options. May be best to confirm with Telkom directly though.
We're still finalising our fibre offerings so you'll soon be able to do everything through us
