Oh no :( Time to sign up with us then though, we're launching Mobile to the public very soon! Time to get posting on Facebook/ Twitter in the mean time and ask your mates who are with us nicely to send you a link.

So when do the debit orders go off on the 1st or now?

How do you generate a link for a friend?

On the old client zone, it just shows the standard generator for ADSL links.

The invoice indicates that it will be today, for September's use.

I quite understand that.

They have to sort out who paid and who didn't, before shipping the devices.

Thanks DTBA! Got the link & signed up. Don't see anything reflected in my clientzone though.

The debit orders will be processed today, depending on the banks it may take a few days.

Sometime after the 21st August. More info on that competition here http://www.afrihost.com/site/promotions/view/win_mobile_data

Doesn't help me then guess I have to forgot about it then :(.

My question is why was it necessary to complete all those details if you have my details on record ??

That's the thing - Afrihost doesn't have everyone's details on record, such as for example your delivery address - which is quite critical when needing to deliver something :)

About those cajones distantclarity ;)

It was a bit frustrating at first, but with all the magic mifi units that kept mysteriously appearing it worked out for all of us in the end, so thank you.

The actual number of visitors isn't the issue, it's because it's happening all at the same time. We've made every plan possible to anticipate the amount of hits but it's so much more than we ever expected.

At the height of traffic we had in excess of 9000 people trying to sign up at the same time - that equates to more than 750 000 concurrent http requests (for all the files needed to handle the process from start to finish).
