Afrihost Pure Fibre - Big price cuts on FTTH packages

I noticed the price cuts as well as them offering Free Installation over Vuma again.

They currently have the best deals for someone getting started with Fibre.

Tough call as to whether or not I'd choose them over Vox in the long run, but any competition is very welcome in the Fibre Market. Given the shorter, more lenient clawback clause period, I think I'd be willing to take a gamble with them first.

Price cuts not really good enough to warrant a switch. I'd save R20 a month by moving from CISP's 20/2 package.

We'd love to have you with us. Don't forget the 2 or 3 months free - that's a biggie :)

Price is a factor, but the real draw for us is the network quality and internet experience. We believe our network really delivers the pure uncapped experience.

Also 2 months free can't hurt :)

So I'm with CISP on OS 100/50 - what do i do ? I have an Afrihost account ( 1GB DSL free I think ). Maybe I can give it a spin, and if not happy - I can always come back to CISP.

I dont need a router - i have my own kit.

That's perfect. Just migrate over to us, we'll take over your line, etc. You don't pay us for 3 months (while saving towards that 65" 4K TV) and then realise you've made a great decision :)

Pretty confident you'll be happy on our network :)

I actually have a 75" TV - But OK - I can maybe save for a 85" ;-)

Do I do it on the client zone ?

How would this be better than CISP 100/100? As far as i understand i already have unshaped, unlimited, month-to-month

I was chatting to another user who said that although some ISP's claim their data is unshaped, they have some limitations like international downloads are throttled or protocols are prioritised. Not sure if that's the case, but maybe check it out.

Our data is completely unshaped, so there is no restriction by data or protocol. So we believe that it's a pure uncapped experience - which differs from what others are offering.

Any idea how i can go about establishing that?

85"?! That's just crazy talk!

Best place to start is our website. Then just log in with your ClientZone details when you complete your order :)

Afriman - here is your first challenge. Your coverage map does not recognise my complex. CISP also had problems getting me on the system, but they eventually did - what to do.

I'm sure we can do this!

Drop me a mail on [email protected] with your exact address and your object or B number from your provider. We should be able to get you signed up from there.

I'll get our best people on this!

Got it. Will follow this up in the morning when the providers wake up :)

Do afrihost have a voip service?
I would be very interested if you offer voip with unlimited calls like voip do at R250 for fibre subscribers

Unfortunately we don't offer VOIP just yet, but with the savings you could see, I am sure you would be able to find an affordable service.
