Anyone else having issues on Frogfoot stellenbosch.

Basically went to poop around 7pm'ish. Basically the same as last weekend Sunday.

Mine has been down since late yesterday (Frogfoot EL). Thought it was due to me upgrading which happened at the same time. Complete outage, not just degraded service.

Hey

Please send me a dm with your email address so I can have a look for you

Hello.

So we have received speed and price increases for the following FNOs:

Metrofibre

Octotel
Frogfoot and Frogfoot Air.
Emails are being sent out to the affected clients.

With Openserve, only the 50/25 Mbps package will be affected by a price increase. It is a change with Afrihost pricing only; the FNO has not implemented any changes, and clients should have received an email confirming the change.
just received an email stating my 50/50 openserve price will increase.......Did i miss additional info about other packages receiving price increase?

Also recieved email for 200/100 package price increase on openserve

Damn Openserve raising prices when they already the most expensive if I am correct...

Now that Octotel users are paying the new prices, when can we expect the new speeds to begin?

Hi AfriPeeps!

I see that the new package pricing has gone live, but it looks like the website isn't yet up-to-date with the changes (Octotel). Would it be possible to get that up-to-date so we can explore our upgrade/downgrade options?

Seems like although the REPs here respond, just like Frogfoot they actually don't give a **** if someone internet goes down for 3 days.

I'm currently on the 240dl/120ul, but this speed doesn't look right or am I missing somethingScreenshot_2024-03-01-17-14-34-473_com.asus.aihome.jpg

Looks like they've migrated you to the 60 / 30 package they sell for almost R600 (Frogfoot), if memory serves, so request a refund for the difference x the number of days they keep you stuck on the lower speeds.

EDIT - it's "only" a R300 difference per month !

Isn't this something that Afrihost should fix on their side? Cause I'm with Frogfoot/Afrihost

You must certainly bring it to their attention, but the one rep here who nowadays handles most of the queries has been on leave - @Afrigirl

@AfriNatic is around, but seemingly less so it seems.

In the meantime, log a ticket in your profile (or however they handle fibre queries), so you have a reference to work with.

I've since amended my original post to include the difference/s between what you're getting + paying, plus screenshot ....

Thanks I'll see if there's an option for queries on the app

Had a look myself, as I've still got a minimal product with them - presume you saw under Get Help that you can submit a ticket.

But I wouldn't leave it at that - work with the rep/s here and even their accounts dept (for possible refund) if they keep you on the wrong speeds paying for considerably higher ones ; that's like daylight robbery.
Ticket submitted, will give all the reps on here a DM tomorrow and hopefully have this sorted

@Frogfoot Fibre
@AfriNatic

Any feedback ? Going into the 4th day of no internet now. FF came and left without a word about resolving my issue. I tried to phone them back , but they refused to answer my call.

Background - My connectivity dropped after I upgraded from 240/240 to 400/400
