Unfortunately there isn't any ETA at the moment. The outages are still ongoing.

There is unfortunately a new partial outage.

The issue at my place (in Arboretum) started this morning.

We have had a few outages in the last few weeks. It's quite sad to see service decline like this after months of zero issues.

Does afrihost have other options besides frogfoot in my complex?

In terms of alternatives I believe Vodacom fibre is also rolled out in Richards Bay not sure if they are rolled out in your complex or just the free standing houses.

@AfriNatic I have an odd issue. I dont think its Afrihost related though.

I have a Dlink DIR806A modem, almost everytime there is a connection issue the modem will factory reset. I dont know how or why its doing that or even how to sort it out. I just to the "first start up" configs on the modem then restore my backup of the config file.

I tried manually factory resetting the modem and that didnt help. It resets about 2 or 3 times a week. It takes 5 min to restore the backup but its such a PITA to keep doing it.

Any idea what could be the issue? Im close to yeeting that Dlink modem out the window and switching to the Huawei AX3
Have a few spare routers. Not the best but should do the job.

I got a Huawei AX3. It's a very good modem but the wifi signal strength is almost half that of the Dlink. I posted about it long ago in this very thread.

I need to get another AX3 and create a mesh upstairs. To get full coverage

Shout if you need a hand. Invested in a Asus Ax88u and it was the best decision I've made. Covers the entire house and signal and speed does not drop at all when the Fibre is stable.

Where are u based? Kzn, Ray area? If so this is yr issue if u are on Frogfoot infrastructure

Do you have a trace route to the server that is serving the content?

See a few people still complaining in my area. Low speeds and some have no internet. Has traffic been redirected?

The outages were resolved last night and we were asked to log tickets for clients experiencing issues.

I already have an open ticket for you.

Can you send me a speedtest?
