What about MTN or Voda or even TelkomYou cant do anything with that connection. No browsing no forums,you tube no nothing. Rain works a little better at work since no one here has a rain sim. My copper line works. Fiber will be just that much better.
I even offered to sign a 12/24 month contract to have fiber installed but no one wants too assist just sorry we dont do fiber in that area. But every second house has a radio dish running on wifi. Just the data is extrememly expensive. R1000 for 4mbps uncapped
It's the same tried voda, mtn, telkom, cellc and rain. Rain got the best connection at work. Went with them and uncappedWhat about MTN or Voda or even Telkom?
I know when I was with AH, I used to bite the staff a lot of schidt when things went South, but they always sorted me out.
Gian is a bit rude - I mailed him a few times and he never responded, then again, maybe he was with a different ISP and didnt get the mails? Who knows.

Except for a hiccup in the switch over, I have completely satisfied with the service. And as was promised, have not experienced any shaping or throttling at all.

I know I'm late to the party, but I'm assuming all the people who voted on this haven't actually tried to get support from Afrihost anything like recently. They are awful.
I'm 3 weeks into signing up for a new Fibre connection and have wasted countless hours trying to get it up and running. They've taken my money, but I still have no functional Fibre (there is an existing ONT, it's just a transfer of account). Afrihost's various support channels are completely useless: Phone never answers, email responds glacially slowly and unhelpfully when they do eventually respond, and WhatsApp has no idea what's going on and just responds from a completely useless script.
