Thanks for the very fast response, you're definitely winning on the Afrihost support channel Olympics. It is however sad that it takes complaining on a public forum to get some sort of response.

I have the following ticket ID #KZV-902-84726.

I know I'm late to the party, but I'm assuming all the people who voted on this haven't actually tried to get support from Afrihost anything like recently. They are awful.

I'm 3 weeks into signing up for a new Fibre connection and have wasted countless hours trying to get it up and running. They've taken my money, but I still have no functional Fibre (there is an existing ONT, it's just a transfer of account). Afrihost's various support channels are completely useless: Phone never answers, email responds glacially slowly and unhelpfully when they do eventually respond, and WhatsApp has no idea what's going on and just responds from a completely useless script.
This is beginning to echo my experience ... things get difficult for the customer service agent and they stop responding to you. All I want is an installation date and Afrihost has had my money for 2 1/2 weeks now.

Did you get any assistance with regards to this? If you have a ticket id I can have a look and follow up on the installation for you.

Stop providing kak MTN LTE for a start.

I can say hands down MTN is the best data network, not really for pricing but for speed, signal and consistancy.

Also AH's free 1GB data that I claim every month is awesome, lasts me the whole month most of the time.

Principle frustration lies around this ticket (NCB-936-40744) and another agent who called back and then failed to follow up. The issue is now on this ticket OUY-277-83050. Looking forward to some positive feedback or any feedback around issues that may exist with Frogfoot.

Morning,

On the status of the order the last feedback was from Frogfoot on the 09/10/2020 which said order approved and progressed to the contractor to schedule and appointment for installation. After that we have not had feedback as to why this step has not happened. I reached out to our service manager again to ask what is going on with the order and why it's taking this long.
