So, 10 YO children were shown films with sexual content and violence to see how harmful this could be. The FBP should state what ethical guidelines were used for this research, even their source document does not have anything on this.

These are irrelevant when movie houses allow underage kids into age restricted movies unsupervised. My 15yo son went to see an 18 restricted movie with a friend. He doesn't look 18.

Don't need rating boards, never have. Parents should just do their jobs as parents.

They should close the FPB down. We do not need them. Hopefully political parties will start looking at this.

It's all a bit pointless and academic these days since a kid can pickup virtually any device connected to the internet and find whatever they want. The only way is proper parenting and sensible supervision, not some outdated central moral authority. Of course, the FPB will just say that's why they need to censor the internet, but this is generally because they have zero clue. The genie has been let out of the bottle. There is no way to control content dissemination, you can only educate your kids and implement sensible controls where it makes sense.

They probably want to take a swing at Netflix again. Probably saw Altered Carbon and all that nudity and thought they can make some monies.
