Hello, I am comparing ticket prices for a trip and found that it costs about 20% less on Tripadvisor website than the
official airline - this is sometimes and the airline is Qatar airways in this scenario.

Anyone know the reason for the price differences and do you user other sites other than Tripadvisor/Offical to book a ticket?

Thanks

Pretty normal.

Be sure to still select the airline option on the comparison site though. Having another intermediary inbetween is bad news when there are problems. Lost a ton of cash that way

Pro tip from a friend of mine in the travel industry: when shopping for flights online, always go incognito, especially if using comparison sites. They use the cookies to keep track of what the price was when you last refreshed, and adjust it slightly each time so you pay more.

I can already see it in effect, incognito from now on for sure
