Ok ok fine. Pushing and shoving.
The USA has never been pushed or shoved into wars , only coerced by their own ambitions/greed/need to keep the military industrial complex going ,or if they were advised by a really close ally who is given billions in aid .

"Close ally". That one that bombs your ships and steals your nuke triggers and influences your elections worse than the Russians can dream of... Sure, nudge nudge wink wink, we support your move to come police our backyard. And hey look... Money.

Looks like Al-Baghdadi's bits and pieces will get the standard muslim burial, just like Osama.

Anatomy of a raid how the united states took out Baghdadi

WASHINGTON, Oct 27 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Sunday announced that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, leader of violent jihadist group Islamic State, died during an overnight raid led by U.S. military forces in Syria.

Here is a description of the raid according to Trump, who went into unusual detail during a national address broadcast from the White House. * The United States began to receive intelligence on the whereabouts of Baghdadi around a month ago, including some “helpful” information from the Kurds, said Trump. U.S. intelligence officials were able to “scope out” his exact location two weeks ago, while Trump himself became aware of the planned raid three days ago. As part of the plan, the United States had to secure permission from Russia, Iraq and Turkey to fly over their airspace, according to Trump and National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien. Trump said the White House did not disclose the nature of the operation to Russia, but told Russian officials they would “like” it.

* On Saturday, Trump arrived back at the White House at around 4:30 p.m. local time (10:30pm in Syria) after a round of golf in Virginia, according to his official schedule. At around 5 pm, he gathered in the White House Situation Room with Vice President Mike Pence, Defense Secretary Mark Esper, national security adviser Robert O’Brien, and other intelligence officials. They watched the raid unfold live “as if you were watching a movie,” said Trump.

* Moments after they gathered, U.S. military personnel and military dogs lifted-off in eight helicopters from an unidentified military base in the Middle East, according to Trump. The personnel came from the Delta Force, one of the U.S. special units mainly focused on counter-terrorism and often deployed to capture high-value targets. A U.S. official told Reuters the operation was staged from an airbase in western Iraq. The on-the-ground operation in the Idlib region of Syria was supported by military aircraft and ships, said Trump. The operatives were also equipped with a military robot but did not ultimately use it.

* Upon approaching Baghdadi’s compound, the helicopters came under gunfire but U.S. forces were able to quickly suppress the assault and land safely. Believing the main compound door to be booby trapped, they entered in just seconds by blasting through the wall, said Trump. “We were getting full reports on a minute-by-minute basis,” he added. * U.S. forces quickly cleared the compound “with people either surrendering or being shot and killed,” said Trump. Eleven children were removed, uninjured, and taken into care by a third party whom the president declined to name. U.S. soldiers captured and later imprisoned several Islamic State fighters. * Baghdadi fled into a subterranean area of the complex and into a tunnel, dragging three of his young children with him. Esper told CNN’s Jake Tapper on Sunday that U.S. forces called for Baghdadi to surrender but the world’s most wanted man refused. Chased by the dogs and confronted by a dead end, Baghdadi – “whimpering and crying and screaming,” according to Trump – ignited his suicide vest, killing himself and his children and causing the tunnel to collapse. No military personnel were hurt although one dog was badly injured. * With Baghdadi’s body “mutilated by the blasts,” U.S. forces used a DNA test onsite to confirm his identity in around 15 minutes. “The test results gave certain, immediate and totally positive identification. It was him,” said Trump. Speaking on NBC News’ Meet The Press with Chuck Todd on Sunday, O’Brien said: “We were in the Situation Room. And the commander of the mission called and said, ‘100% confidence, jackpot.” * The soldiers proceeded to search the compound, taking “highly sensitive material” including information on Islamic State’s origins and its future plans. In total, U.S. forces were in the compound for around two hours before flying back out via the same route they flew in.

* Baghdadi’s body will be “disposed of properly,” O’Brien said, adding that he expected it to be the same protocol followed in 2011 for Osama bin Laden. The al Qaeda leader was buried at sea after U.S. officials consulted with experts in Islamic law and ritual. Additional information is also available here.

Source

  • Raid occurred under the cover of darkness in Idlib Province in northwestern Syria.
  • The target was a fortified compound that sat above a number of tunnels, all but one of which were thought to be deadends.
  • Al-Baghdadi died after running into a dead-end tunnel with three children. He detonated a suicide vest, killing himself and the three children and collapsing the tunnel.
  • Debris was removed and an on-site technician executed a DNA test that came up positive. What was left of him also matched his description. Cadavers are being brought back to the United States for further analysis.
  • Trump said al-Baghdadi was crying and screaming before death and that he died "like a dog" and "a coward."
  • The team spent roughly two hours in the compound and retrieved large amounts of intelligence for analysis and exploitation.
  • No American service members were killed in the operation.
  • Special operators were met with a ground fire when they arrived. The targets were neutralized from the helicopters.
  • A hole was blown in the side of the compound to access its interior instead of going through a door as it was thought they would be boobytrapped.
  • One combat K9 was injured after chasing al-Baghdadi into the tunnel, but did not die.
  • A large number of ISIS fighters died with a smaller group captured. They are now in an undisclosed prison.
  • 11 children were rescued safely during the raid and were turned over to an undisclosed local party.
  • Two women who were wearing suicide vests were also killed, but they did not detonate their vests.
  • An explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) robot was on-site to move down the tunnel if needed, but the raid moved too fast for it to be used.
  • Trump watched the raid in real-time from the Situation Room along with Vice President Pence, Defense Secretary Esper, the Joint Chiefs Of Staff including Chairman U.S. Army General Mike Milley, and National Security Advisor Robert O'Brien. The room also held other intelligence and military officials and advisors.
  • Trump noted the technology behind his ability to watch the raid directly was very impressive and it was "as though you were watching a movie."
  • Only American forces were directly involved in the operation.
  • Eight special operations helicopters were used in the operation, which flew through Syrian, Russian, and Turkish defended airspace during the mission.
  • Flight time was 1 hour and 10 minutes in and was considered among the most dangerous parts of the operation.
  • The helicopters took an identical route in and out.
  • Russia received advanced notice of a U.S. mission in order to deconflict airspace, but they were not told about the target of the operation.
  • Trump thanked Iraq, as well, for their cooperation, although exactly what it entailed is unclear.
  • The helicopters flew at very low level and at very high speed during their ingress and egress to the targe area and took small arms fire along the way. It is thought that these were locals just taking potshots at the helicopters.
  • The operation was supported by substantial airpower operating at very high-altitudes according to Trump. He also stated that many ships and planes were involved.
  • The Kurds supplied useful intelligence leading up to the raid.
  • Trump said the helicopters landed at "a friendly port in a friendly country."
  • Trump said that he entered the Situation Room at around 5:00 PM and that the helicopters launched shortly after that. He sent his tweet after they landed safely at 9:23 PM.
  • Intel about al-Baghdadi's whereabouts started the chain of events that led to the operation a month ago.
  • He was under surveillance for weeks.
  • Two or three times similar operations were canceled within that one-month timeframe.
  • Al-Baghdadi constantly changed his plans on the fly and never used cell phones, etc., complicating targeting.
  • Further confirmation of his presence at the compound occurred and the mission was set to be executed for three days before it began on Saturday evening.
  • Trump stated that al-Baghdadi was in Idlib to rebuild ISIS and that he had large amounts of cash on hand to do so.
