Please prices, curious to know.

Interesting also as Telkom's site says ftth is not planned atm for Meyersdal.
VC Must be bypassing Telkom completely and patching into the VC network directly and plumbing out somewhere on their network

Whar about that telkom fibre coverage in Meyersdal?

Granadine st, hazel st, the complex next to hennie alberts st?

ye, i'm thinking Vodacom is providing them via their network, don't think any of that is coming down to the Meyersdal exchange.

So - These guys do fibre in the whole of Alberton. Unfortunately they are horrifically expensive, they only supply to businesses. Just a matter of interest:

1. 10mb uncapped 1:1 contention ratio - R4995
2. 20mb uncapped 1:1 contention ratio - R5995
3. 100mb uncapped 1:1 contention ratio - R9950

The nodes are here but it seems to only be focused at businesses only.

Any ISP on DFA's network can offer this, the limitation and costing is from DFA's side not the ISP :)

Those prices aren't bad if it's truly a 1:1 contention ratio...

No idea who's network it is on, I was just trying to get better internet. I have it on rock solid authority (Telkom town planners) Alberton wont see Telkom FTTH until middle of 2018 when they start the deployment. "Just not enough demand"

With that pricing you can tell it's a DFA product.

They might - or they might use DFA pay that price then give clients connections at 10 or 20:1 contention ratios.

So what does the contention ratio really mean, on one 100mb line there is 20 people sharing that pipe but still get 100mb?
