Everyone who bitches about vaccines should stare long and hard at this picture...

One was vaccinated for Smallpox, the other not....

This is true

I had Hand-Foot-and-Mouth disease as an adult, not pleasant, I was not vaccinated against a few things as I grew up in Eastern Europe in the 80's and there was a shortage. I also got Mumps as an adult, equally terrible - followed by Encephalitis as a secondary manifestation, landed up in hospital feeling like I was literally going to die.

So I decided to go and get tested for immunity to all common childhood illness's, and took vaccines for all the ones I had no immunity against - no side effects, and hopefully if I pick them up I won't need to take 1 week off work or land up in hospital.

Vaccines have their purpose

Actual clinical peer reviewed research or watching youtube videos with no reliable references.

I thought so.

I have done my research. Have you?
Or are you 1 of those over-night specialists and/or professors that were created since covid started?

Get a copper still and enough yeast, brewing eq and ingredients and empty bottles. Once-off investment that will pay off.

I watched this one show where the head distiller was talking about how his grand father, father and himself were only able to sample and improve on 3-4 whiskey's based on their own palates during their lifetime. Its a long time to make a 10+ year old whiskey.

I am looking to restock next week for the 3rd wave, so preparing for maybe another 2 - 3 months ban again in April. This time round I had a few cases of KWV brandy and a case of tanqueray gin with 2 bottels of makers mark bourbon. But it gets boring drinking the same thing day in and day out, so for next time I am looking to diversify my shopping list. Not really interested in beer, at the moment I am producing 30l every 2 weeks, so I am good on that front.

So what is on your wish/doomsday prepper list to restock? Any ideas for the pantry?

Our highness, lady kopdoek isn't going to catch me with my pants round my ankles, I am maintaining a strict rolling 3 month supply since last lockdown. Which means I didn't have to stock up today as sales opened, like many others I suspect.

I'm trying to decide if we will be into winter already as that changes what I will want to drink. Summer I tend to go more light beer + gin/whiskey. Winter I like heavier ales, stouts, porters + red wine, brandy, whiskey. Guess I can just get a few of each as the wine/spirits won't expire soon.
