“I am excited to be taking on the role of Managing Director for the Southern African region, one of RIM’s most important growth markets.
One of RIM's only growth markets...

Now what pressure are you going to put on Vodacom for destroying BIS?

Good luck to her! She's gona need it!

If the competition comes out with a R75 uncapped (or a soft 2gb cap) - RIM will struggle to hold onto their market share. Was it ACK talking about the fact that one cant differentiate based on price...too easily copied - they don't want price wars.

Eish - very personal comments for a post in the news section.

Well it will be interesting to see what she makes of the slow connectivity Vodacom offer on BB, and afaik MTN too.....

RIM is a sinking ship. I'm not sure a change of leadership can actually do anything about that.

Oh goody, another non-technically-inclined person who was good at selling services who's been appointed to a job that's focused on a product that ends up being very technical to work with. If she doesn't manage to get things in order for the company down here than there's no hope for RIM, even in a literal goldmine of bandwidth-starved users like us South Africans.
