Good luck! I hope the wifey approves :) Just -DO NOT- let her sit in one with lots of optional extras...otherwise you might end up like me...

lol, she wouldn't care about the extras. She thinks I am nuts as it is, so the less extras I get I think the better she will feel :p

Q: Are Alfa's way more expensive to fix than other cars? I am talking out of motor plan now.

Maybe that question will be better answered on the Alfa Owner forum. To be honest, I'm.pretty new to the mechanical of Alfa.

From what I have heard.people used to wait for ages for parts. I guess since sales have tripled from last year this might not be an issue as they are aware of how many cars they need to support. It took 2 days for my new gearbox to arrive, I just don't know the price.

Yeah I guess you are right, 2 days is flipping good. Doubt any dealer could do that quicker.

How is your Giuli?

I'm still waiting for my car though. Been more than a month now. At least they gave me a GT to drive so it ain't so bad.

Hmm, so you ordered the car and are you paying for it while you wait? Or do you only starting paying it off when it arrives?

I think he may mean his car is in for repair. I've ordered mine but will only start paying once I receive it.

Ahh, sorry brain not functioning today :p

A month! Dam thats a long wait.

And I dont think its a Giulietta...Remember, the Alfa boom is due to the Giulietta. Thats why sales have tripled. Last year Alfa sold like 25 cars countrywide a month. Since January they have been selling over 70. Probably mostly Mitos and Giuliettas so parts will be on hand
