And I dont think its a Giulietta...Remember, the Alfa boom is due to the Giulietta. Thats why sales have tripled. Last year Alfa sold like 25 cars countrywide a month. Since January they have been selling over 70. Probably mostly Mitos and Giuliettas so parts will be on hand

Yeah I read they sold only 350 cars the whole year :wtf:

The article said exactly what I was thinking, how the fek do all the dealerships survive??

I ordered mine this week. I am getting it next week! I can't wait! I am also going for the 1.4 Distinctive - but with Leather, Cruise Control, Aluminum Kick plates and the Tom Tom nav... :)

Roll on Monday! :)

Fantastic! What colour did you get and through which dealership?

Like I said earlier, leather is a must. It completely transforms the interior.

Also, what mags are coming with it?

Eish, just came back from showing the wife the car, she liked it but I dunno why but for me it was a bit of an anti climax :wtf:

Kinda looked at the progression they had on the floor and wasn't blown away at all.

I don't think I will be happy with the base model. The seats are crap, you were right Random. Really kak. Also I never saw the wheels that it comes standard with until today. *puke*

Damn...I told you the leather is amazing. Once you experience it you wont want anything else...Have a good think about it. The base Progression mags are the 16" 5 spoke right? They arent that bad to be honest...maybe a little small. Im thinking of getting the super sport alloys...17". Dont want to go up to 18". A tyre just gets too expensive...

Ya, after sitting in yours, the cloth just made me a sad panda :p

The wheels aren't to bad, but they just dont seem to 'fit' in well.

Getting it in Alfa Red with the stock wheels. Didn't want to add R6K for something I don't see when I am driving. If they really display THAT bad I will go for a 17"/18" Wheel and Tyre combo at a later stage.

AFAIK 16"s tyres and more expensive than 17"s? By dumping the standard 16" tyre and getting 17"s, you will be saving in the long run with cheaper tyres.

I don't know that this is necessarily still universally true. Besides, you're talking a couple of hundreds' saving per set of tyres... Unless you drive like a moron 24/7 you'll replace tyres, what, two or three times before the Alfa [-]breaks down for the last time[/-] is sold or traded in. :p

I meant 18"'s The tyre prices for a decent pair start getting retarded.

I just did a bit of research and 16" seems to be quite a bit cheaper than 17" these days..

18's can be had for about R1400 each ie Hankooks

and they dont only add to looks, but will be better for handling

I am truly disappointed! The dealer can only get the car here on Saturday... Then they still have to PDI and install Netstar - only getting the car NEXT week!!! :(

I am holding thumbs for Tuesday... The salesperson said that she will bend over backwards to get me my car by Tuesday - because she knows that I am Car-los at the mo. (Teeny weeny run in with a T-Junction!)
