At the risk of been seen as positive and non racist I post this link.

I hope the saying "better the devil you know" will no be taken out of context again. But my view is if Mbeki is re-elected then it is bad for demoncracy but the alternative in Zuma could be (me think is) worse.

No that's a bad idea. Even if having mbeki for another term is better then getting zuma it sets a terrible precedent that will be hard to get away from. What happens at the next election after the upcoming one if zuma is still alive and still wishes to run, do we allow mbeki to extend his stay again? No I think mbeki has been president for long enough to show that he can't really change things. We need a new one and lets all hope for the sake of the country that common sense will prevail and we don't get stuck with zuma.

I think under Mbeki's leadership the ANC has lost a lot of ground.
There seems to be turmoil everywhere and infighting is rife.
Frankly I will be glad if he is not re-elected.

Giving the ANC presidency to Zuma might be very irresponsible in view of the fact that the Scorpions dont seem to be quite finished with the gent yet.
Surely he is to much of a liability at the moment to even be considered as the next ANC president?

That said though accountability is not a prerequisite within the ANC, loyalty seems paramount.

A new face would do some good.

In another thread I was shot down for posting "mshini wami". I see you got it as your signature. How come you're not being called a terrorist?
