Well perhaps the best we can hope for is that while Ivy is acting president, somebody at the DoC will get off their backside and actually do something positive for the ICT sector her back is turned.
Remember how so much positive action was taken on health issues by Manto’s deputy, Nozizwe Madlala-Routledge (for which she inevitably got fired)
Can someone explain how a fat-deaf-donut-eating-senior citizen who thinks the entire internet fits on one cd, becomes the communications minister?A thieving-alcoholic nurse becomes health minister?
And an arrogant crime boss becomes police commissioner?

So while she plays president and sits in the big chair and relaxes in the office.. who is in charge of DoC?
I tend to agree with you there - we haven't heard anything from Roy Padayachie who is supposedly still Poison Ivy's deputy - IIRC not since he promised a radical reduction in telecoms costs within 6..8 weeks - that was so long ago I cannot remember which year it was promised in, so for all we know, Poison Ivy might have picked up her Dr Evil communicator and asked Mbeki to have Roy assassinated for daring to go against Poison Ivy's master plan for the country and the Department of Communistications.I don't think it's a relevant question. Would it be any different when the answer is 'no one'?![]()
