Hi guys

Does any1 kno much about a programm called allegro surf...
Sum1 recommended it 2 me on myadsl

I managed to set it up alright... Got client pc's all connected to the allegro surf
engine and are surfing away...

My only problem is:

Only http is working..and not online gaming on the client pc's...!!!
I assume that i need to setup a server to allow this but which1..

The online server uses port 6112, if thats any help...but the local port changes
each time i connect on the main internet sharing pc ( without using proxy, ie allegrosurf disabled ), its the client pcs
with the problem not the localhost..

i've also been using a program called x-netstat ( also recommended from myadsl)
to identify the ports used by the game...6112 It however mentions
sumthing about protocal which it says is TCP...

Please inlighten me as to what i need to do 2 allow my client pc's to access the onling game servers....

Thanks in advance...

Allegro Surf is doing it's job by blocking activity on the unknown port 6112.

You need to configure it to accept it like any firewall.
