Must... Not... Make... Gay... Innuendo...
Aargh!

But seriously - those tankless units are good for undercounter heaters at a washbasin, but not for a entire bathroom. Best bet at the moment is gas. I recently found out that my awesomely hot solar geyser refit works great during the summer (Up to 80 degrees), but in winter only keeps your water temp at 30 degrees, and works as a element preheat (That is the phrase the installer used when I had them come and check the drop in peformance.)

8kW in-line heating?

Let's see... Cp of water ~= 4.18 kJ/kg.K, let's say water feed is at 25C and you want a temp of 70C for a comfortable shower/bath water. 70-25 = Delta.C = 45C = 45K, so 8kW / (4.18 kJ/kg.K) / (45 K) = 0.04253 kg/s = 2.55 Litres/minute of hot water flow.

Well, you cant shower or bath while its loadshedding :/ normal geyser owners still can.

What he said. Either go gas ~20 L/min boiling or use a normal geyser :\
