basically it offers little to no performance gain

why not just stick with 939 then

Basically this was just a first step to get to DDR2 platform. We'll have to see what comes out later on in the future. Tho they have brought down power consumption and therefore temps. And RAM running in "SLI" seems interesting.

Now we wait for the Conroe. As an AMD fan I'm a bit nervous. :eek: :)
