At least that R79 includes 4K streaming at no extra charge which is nice.

The content though... not that great. I wish you could disable the Bollywood stuff completely.
I subscribe only for a couple of months a year - mostly for The Expanse. But not enough content to keep around the entire year. And the Bollywood stuff is annoying - they really should add better filtering and navigation.

I agree. Subscribed for about a year and then unsubscribed. The amount of Bollywood stuff is insane.

Hmmm, I'm still getting billed R42/month. Don't think I have opened it in the past 3 months, the only reason I haven't cancelled is because of the price.

Even US PrimeVideo isn't that great unless you are subbed to their channels like starz. So basically you pay an access fee to sub to channels. I'd rather sub to apple tv+ for about the same amount. Ohwait I'm subbed to apple tv+ already...

I like the docs and fantasy series they offer. Nice to see it being charged in rand now.

What are you watching? I've finished all the things and then well I suppose now after a long break from primev there is wheel of time?
At the moment Eureka and Chuck - I enjoy their back catalogue - tried The Voyeurs but that guy's voice just irritated the crap out of me.

Many regions in India have their own cinema industry, Bollywood is just one of many. The big 3 cinema industries in India produce over 200 movies a year and that's not even counting the other smaller regional cinema industries and series from all the regions.

Bollywood Hindi language cinema - targeted mostly at the NE Hindi/Urdu speaking of India and Pakistan 500 million

Telugu language cinema- 80 million

Tamil language cinema- 70 million

Bengali language cinema- 210 million India and Bangladesh

With India being a major market for Amazon just making sure the major regional languages are caterered for really swells up the catalogue.

I dont know what has the worst content between DSTV, showmax and Prime video.

MIGHT look into this, but I need to get YouTube Premium. I am tired of all the useless ads. MIght then chuck Spotify if Youtube's music app is as good.

Vodacom is giving 6 months for free.. I'm in my second month now.. It's OK.. Netflix isn't that great either atm
