Some questions please:
Does the whole PC run from a 12 volt supply?
How much space is there for hard disc(s)?
Could 3.5” drives be accommodated?
Can you also post a photo of the rear connectors

Thanks

OK, so here is the low down,. If you add and mSATA drive to the mobo it will all run off a single 4 PIN 12V ATX.

Right now this mobo is in a HuntKey H702 that takes in 12V 5W and converts it to ATX power - that I do not need as per the pic with the ATX connector jumped on pin 13.

In reality you can just give this board ATX 12V and it will do the rest. Between the mobo and SSD you will see some floppy power connectors - those all output 12V and 5V as per floppy power spec. So you can power and SSD off them.

This board I suspect was originally a NAS server board.

Currently I am building a SATA power cable to go from the mobo should you wish to drive this board offf a pure 12V source like a battery without the HuntKey ITX PSU.

Are you referring to the Raspberry Pi 4 in the background or the EMI coil around the 12V 5A power input?

Coincidentally there is another coil just outside the barrel plug as well.

Thought it was a Pi or something, interested as to why the need for such a large heat sink.

The Pi and this PC is currently running BOINC so they are maxed out 24/7 with the aim of seeing which scores best. I am hoping the Pi wins because it only takes 5V and not 12V like this PC and it will be a perfect candidate for a solar power PC.

The Pi also hosts my Xonotic server that we play on daily.

Not for me, too non-standard I’m afraid

I was looking at it too. I like the compact aspect, power consumption is irrelevant to me. The APU is a bit too slow for my requirements though.

I'm also one of those irrational individuals who's bothered by the lack of an IO shield.

I toyed with the idea of making a music server, but I need somewhere to put 2 x 3.5" hard drives

The two LAN ports intrigued me. Could they be configured to have separate addresses?

Yes, each of the LANs have their own MAC addresses. If you only want the motherboard to put in another case that will take 3.5" drives I can let it go for what I paid for it, R1300. (the case was R600 and the SSD was R300)

I have returned with the object you desire. IO Shield installed, and it's one of those nice padded type ones. Also did a little bit of cable management.

I presume it has Windows on it?
Was thinking of Open Media Vault as a friend in Jhb sings its praises
Been looking for an enclosure that will take 2 x 3.5" drives that you preferably connect via LAN. Failing that, I suppose USB3.0 is ok
Certainly the price is right, but it must do what I intend to use it for, hence my hesitation
