I wonder how this memory will work for crypto mining.

Have heard AMD is coming back many times over the last few years, all of it amounted to naught/oscar/zero/boggeralli.

That said, their presence would be most welcome as a valid competitor to Nvidia, who have done pretty much as they have pleased for the the while (pricing included)

If they get their act together, consumers will benefit handsomely.

You obviously missed Ryzen. They also didn't do too bad against Nvidia until the last year and then it only mattered if you were going for the absolute fastest.
