AMD unveils Ryzen 5000 desktop processors - The fastest gaming CPUs in the world

AMD has launched its new generation of Ryzen 5000 processors, which the company said offer the best single-threaded and gaming performance of any desktop chips.

The processors are built on a 7nm+ manufacturing process and are based on AMD's Zen 3 CPU microarchitecture, which brings significant improvements in power efficiency and performance.

AMD CEO Lisa Su said big changes in the core architecture of its processors has allowed the company to bring the best desktop processors to the PC market.

Indeed, and even with the release of the RTX 3080/90 series, the CPU is the bottleneck. (Looking at you FS 2020).

Really keen to see how the Ryzen 5000 series performs once independent analysts get their hands on it.

Yeah my buddy at the time was like just wait till July than you can get a 3600, I was like dude that's 6 months away, I'll get it now . Has worked out quite nicely, originally paired with a 1660ti but now with a 2060 Super and it's been great.
