Afrihost crushes the competition

Afrihost has extended its lead over Vox, Telkom, and Rain as the Internet service provider (ISP) with the strongest brand in South Africa.

This was revealed in Analytico’s 2023 South African Broadband and ISP Brand Report released this week.

Cool Ideas performed very well among technical users, but its popularity declined quickly with consumers’ technical knowledge, as it is not a well-known household brand like Telkom.

And that is why they were acquired by Afrihost, and then left alone to do their own thing. Very wise decision.

People selected Afrihost because of its good customer service, easy cancellation policy, and excellent online client portal.

Nothing more needs to be said. The WhatsApp team, myBB reps and everyone else are some of the best in the business.

The survey does not take ino account the dozens of requests I, and I assume other technically aware people, have made to Afrihost support, with a specific technicality, and them replying with a standard answer that is not even remotely connected to my query.
But other than it being an endless struggle to get Afrihost support to understand a technical issue, Afrihost is OK. Perhaps they appoint sales people as tech support, as they are very good at selling.
