EC won't investigate. Possibly, higher ups in the region involved.

Nobody will investigate it...

They will pay lipservice to a "report" but it will never see the light of day and nobody will face any consequences.

Nah. There will be a commission of enquiry chaired by some retired Judge. It will take 5 years and cost even more than the stadium. And by the time her report is out everyone involved will be dead/re-deployed.

If the stadium cost R500m maybe.. but at R15m they'll just brush it under the carpet... I mean its only 75 brooms really (using Eskom maths)

Sounds like a waste of money. She is nowhere near qualified enough to decide if the things should have cost R15 or R15m. The roadshow is probably more of a campaign for support seeing as the president has indicated an intention to suspend her.

To be fair, it is the same office that told us that Zuma's Nkandla homestead was a massive corruption cesspool, I am sure they have access to experts and institutions that can tell her how much these things cost.

They will definitely have access to experts and such to give guidance on costs without a doubt.

But we know that this cretin is about as competent and unbiased as Jacob... birds of a feather and all that.

Wasn't that Thuli not the current buffoon?

If so I don't think just saying it's the "same office" explains the situation fully.

So apparently documents related to this stadium tender were destroyed in to that fire they had shortly after questions started being asked. Nice coincidence.

So it's the forensic report which was destroyed. the one they commissioned just after the story broke. You think the PP would think to ask the investigators for their copy.

I really hope you don't compare Busisiwe to Thuli?

LOL one of these are clearly not the same..

But you're EFF she's basically your party's stooge, dunno why anyone'd expected anything different from you.

It should be simple enough to see the point I am making in context to the post I was responding to.

I don't think there was any name change, Komani is the name of the town under the Enoch Mgijima Municipality.
In fact, some of the non-political names were used in parallel with the names being phased out. Examples are Tshwane and Polokwane... Gauteng referred to Johannesburg but I could be wrong.

Note this post is not endorsement or defence of name changes. I'm merely adding to the debate (I'm not in the mood).

The enquiry will probably cost more than R15m. Good money in these it seems, a few advocate chums, judge or retired judge, plethora of investigators. A few tons of printing.
