Ok sorry if this is a stupid question but who is suppose to oversee this so that this doesn't happen? I have no words to express how I feel about all these tenders and shyt from the ANC.
The government.
Trust the government, they know better than you for everything.

There is literally an image of a R15 million Saldanha stadium in the original article for comparison. It's a proper concrete stand with a lush green field. This is inexcusable dude.
But what makes you think I am excusing anything? I merely asked a guy who seems to know about this stuff more than I do, I don't take things posted on Twitter seriously so I don't know of a Saldanha stadium or how much it cost, or even if what is posted is the real image, you can calm down now.

Yeah guys I get this but surely they are suppose to have a board or something to prevent this. Not like it would help them also being ANC but you know what I mean ?

Well then they need to wake the fk up.
How? They don't have the background you do. They potentially can't see what's happening on the large scale because frankly it doesn't impact their rural world. They've probably never seen R15 000 let alone R15 million. Their lives have likely remained largely unchanged throughout ANC rule. Heck if anything they've now got a field with goals with no nets and everything. That's great, look at all the ANC does for them.

Are you so out of touch in your suburban home with your tertiary education that you can't even empathise with someone in that sort of position?

Saying people should just "wake the fk up" is not going to fix this.

I am just trying to imagine what it really cost, because I think people on Twitter are taking it too far.

Deffo not a stadium like in jhb / kzn or cpt.

Think school sports grounds, and your in the right ballpark. That's around 15 - 25 million

But you get a level piece of land, and good people to construct it, and you could pull it off for less than 15 mil

That could really help the community, and how about a small garden close by? Or is that too much to ask.

You've started at least one thread in recent memory around the ANC's fight against corruption. If they're fighting corruption so heavily how is this allowed to happen.
I merely asked a guy who seems to know about this stuff more than I do, I don't take things posted on Twitter seriously so I don't know of a Saldanha stadium or how much it cost, or even if what is posted is the real image, you can calm down now.
A 2min Google search will show you the thing is real.

It's not altruism. It's in your own interest to have the country improve.

Not just them. All of us. Which is my point.

A person wearing rose tinted glasses always sees things in an overly optimistic and unrealistic way.

I've not denied there's a problem here (which is what someone wearing rose tinted glasses would do). I'm saying the way you approach it isn't going to help.

Maybe you should have gone to uni... maybe you'd be able to use idioms correctly then?

There are so many sports clubs being liquidated in SA that two such stands could have been acquired through such a process.

Yes, this is blatant corruption and is being celebrated.
