They spent 4 million clearing a field for a school 7 years ago, nothing else was done since. So yeah inflation makes it about 7 million to clear the area, 4 million for the stands and 4 million for the sundries. Easy man

That article clearly indicates they installed water systems. Those are apparently up to the same standards as those stands and goals with no nets.

This is insulting. How long will the ANC continue to support this sort of blatant corruption and incompetence.
For as long as we allow them to.

I think you mean a construction vehicle. To transport the hosepipe and nets to the field. X5s are perfect for that. Might need the 4x4 capability.

Might even need 5 construction vehicles. 1 for each net, 1 for the hosepipe, 1 for the sprinkler, and 1 to take the gardener to open the taps. I also suspect there is a tender for a maintenance contract for those vehicles somewhere.
On that field? It's not might, it's a racing certainty.

sooooo how long before the steel from the stadium will be redistributed?

I would hazard a guess by the end of next weekend that stadium will make a nice superstructure for a few new shakes in the area.

LOL so proud of their handiwork , look at them cutting the barrier tape as a grand opening.

I prime example of how the ANC operates, at least this project actually produced something, even if it cost about 5 times what it should have.
