What, lip service? Been at first steps for almost 20 years then. Look at the amount of prisoners in jail as a result of the arms scandal.
Zuma, his leadership, corrupt private citizens made sure crime, corruption thrived without any exposure, lip service etc. The only lip service was that State Capture is a myth.

Now, Ramaphosa, with the support of his leadership has supported this process which exposes the issues. He has expanded terms of reference to look at the wider SOE problems. It is a good step.

As said by many here before, Ramaphosa becam a puppet the day he got into bed with others to secure power. He can’t do anything. Even if he wants to, the ANC won’t let him. Mark this.

You make it sound as if he is a good guy who wants to do the right thing but cannot due to circumstances. He is NOT. Don't forget this is the same guy who sat idly and supported Zuma in 7 no confidence votes. Then at one event calls Zuma's years wasted. And at another backtracks. This is the makings of an honourable person. Just the fact that he "got into bed with others to secure power" should tell you that?

He's scarcely started and we're already decided that he's a puppet who will do nothing? And it's not even that he's done nothing yet.

Not forgetting anything. :D Years ago, he was my previous company’s BEE partner, aka looter. I know he is no different than any of his friends at the trough. He will not bump anyone away from a feeding spot. He’s just gonna make the trough bigger.

Care to post any results? Any convictions or prison sentences? Any money paid back? You are way too gullible and optimistic.:D

Serious question...is it possible to have private courts dedicated to adjudicating high profile cases? Basically the Scorpions version of a court? Private prosecutions and courts should be used in cases where the NPA is shown to have utterly failed their mandate to the tax payers.

And who would appoint this private court? Sorry but your idea just isn't feasible.

He started a process that many ANC people including Zuma were against. The wanted NDZ to avoid exactly what Ramaphosa is doing.

Breaking story: https://www.news24.com/SouthAfrica/...vices-commissioners-bosasa-officials-20190206

The Hawks have arrested six suspects - with warrants of arrest issued for another one - on allegations of corruption, money laundering and fraud related to facilities management company Bosasa.

The suspects were between the ages of 50 and 78, and include former correctional services commissioners, Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said on Wednesday.

"The sweeping high-profile arrests follows a marathon investigation wherein almost R1.6bn is said to have been misappropriated in the tender processes for the procurement of various services by the Department of Correctional Services," Mulaudzi said.
No names yet, until they appear in court later [today].

The hint about one being arrested in PE, hints towards it maybe being a Watson?

One can guess?
https://citizen.co.za/news/south-af...ommissioner-of-correctional-services-agrizzi/

"Agrizzi’s testimony detailed how Bosasa built the houses of the former commissioner of correctional services, Linda Mti, and the department’s former COO, Patrick Gillingham.
"
The easiest sacrificial victims, not MPs, and no political backing...

Edit: The cases against them go back decades: https://www.news24.com/Archives/City-Press/The-SIUs-case-against-Linda-Mti-20150429

According to the SIU, the first meeting between Linda Mti, Bosasa, Patrick Gillingham and other senior prisons officials took place between November 2003 and early 2004 at SuperSport Park cricket stadium in Centurion.
Edit: There were promises of arrests at the Mining Indaba: https://www.dailymaverick.co.za/art...fficials-ramaphosa-promises-mining-investors/
