"under Jacob Zuma’s ANC, our progress is being reversed"

South Africa 2015 in a nutshell.

Its sad, we are heading for a state with less employment opportunities, mass deindustrialisation as a result of policy and labor action, a population on social grants and in poverty with rich fat cat politicians and unions rolling in the dough.

A recipe for disaster.

Tonight I will not say anything. Just

Mods took over last night where I challenged ANC supporters..

Sometimes being amidst constant and never ending stupidity can drive you a bit nuts.

I concur. Your sig tells all. "High School Maths teacher. Private Master Maths Tutor.
Mathematics Learning Material Creator. Mathematics Intervention Programme facilitator"

No wonder you are cross.

I'm so confused. Eskom is being managed by an ANC war room, so the ANC is protesting against... the ANC?

The African National Congress (ANC) says it's preparing for a mass march tomorrow morning to highlight issues Soweto residents have with Eskom.

? The ANC are having a march against the thing they caused ????

This. Highlights the stupidity of the ANC.

Sad thing is that the people living in soweto will fall for it, not knowing the greater issue and that the ANC caused the issues in the first place.

Christ. This country is going one way, And that is downhill.

Not really. The march will accomplish nothing except what the ANC already planned. Soweto residents will get their wish, Eskom won't be hurt and the ANC will look good in the eyes of their voters. The only people who will be negatively impacted here is, once again, the paying middle class.
Seems like a plausible explanation.

Given the recent fights between Eskom and jhb I'd say the theory that its one part of the ANC fighting the other seems equally plausible

Is it me ..... or ........ The locals march, and dance, and carry silly placards, and demundd and act anti social about the things the ANC have cocked up , then go out and elect the SAME government all over again??

Stupidity seems to be an incurable virus in SA.

Anything for a good struggle. The problem with these idiots is that they're too lazy to work for a better life, they always want to fight for something. Gives them a story to tell their grandkids, because that's pretty much all they're capable of accomplishing...

This match is no more than a truck load of grand standing mixed with a healthy dose of lost productivity for marchers and motorists they stop or harass, etc. Swines !!!

1. Jan van Riebeeck
2. Apartheid
3. the DA
4. Colonialists
5. the rich people in their mansions
6. Thabo Mbeki
7. Allistair Sparks
8. Cecil John Rhodes

Add to that list:

9. Eskom (although run by the ANC)
